NO VOICE NAVIGATION or “REAL DIRECTIONS”! – consider Garmin Nuvi 2X89 or 2X99 lines (way better & potentially worth the extra $) I can see the initial appeal of the Garmin Nuvi 55 & 65 models. They have some big limitations compared to their higher trim siblings, but at least the price is right. Like all of the Garmin two-digit numbered models (and a few of the four-digit models), they do not let the driver communicate with the device by voice (i.e. “voice navigation”, or “voice activation”); these models also do not have “Garmin Real Directions” (note that Garmin “Real Voices” is…
